Edirisinghe Brothers is a 70-year-old family-owned business operating within the automotive engineering field. It was embarking on an ambitious plan to move into an emerging market: repairing and maintenance of hybrid and electric vehicles.


Hybrid Hub was born of this venture. From naming the organization, to all design work covering brand identity, enshrining the brand charter, advising on interior design of facility, web development, and social media content development – the entire gamut of marketing communications was carried out by the Q&E team. The focus of our initiative was that of creating an ‘educative’ platform.

A 24X7 hotline was established at the outset to answer queries and assist callers with any issues related to their hybrid and electric vehicles; social media was used as an educative platform to provide description and solutions for frequent issues experienced by vehicle owners.


Hybrid Hub managed to gain unparalleled exposure on mainstream media during its launch phase. Engagement on the digital platform led to direct conversion to sales. The customer base collated by the end of the year was double that of the client’s KPI. Within the first two years of operation, the second facility was also launched.

Hybrid Hub now enjoys a reputation as the hybrid vehicle experts, and the number one repair and maintenance facility in the country.
